Welcome to BrickHeads

Creators,
not consumers.

BrickHeads Robotics is a community-based robotics hub dedicated to inspiring the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers and technology leaders. Our students learn by making. They build mechanisms, write code, test ideas, solve problems together and discover that failure is often just another useful piece of data.

How we learn

Build. Play.
Improve. Repeat.

Robotics becomes a way of thinking: make something, put it under pressure, notice what happens, then return to the problem with a better idea.

Student building and inspecting a robot
01 / BUILD

Build

Turn ideas into mechanisms, robots and working prototypes.

Students testing a robot on a FIRST LEGO League mission table
02 / PLAY

Play

Experiment, explore and discover what the robot really does.

Robot being tested and improved
03 / IMPROVE

Improve

Debug the code. Refine the mechanism. Ask why it failed.

Students collaborating around a laptop
04 / REPEAT

Repeat

Try again. Then again. Each iteration changes what you understand.

Our journey

From Pretoria
to the world.

Competitions create milestones, but the larger story is what happens between them: hours of building, debugging, collaboration, preparation and perseverance.
